How We Build Custom Sites in 72 Hours

Process

72 hours is not a slogan. It is the preview window in a 15-day contract. The public version of the same steps lives on process. This is the unedited version, with the clocks we have already published on live work.

What the product actually is

A six-week shop and a 72-hour studio can both ship WordPress. You are buying a calendar. The longer comparison is 72 hours vs a six-week agency. Here is the GridCraft calendar, in order.

  1. Day 0, about 30 minutes. You pick a package and pay 50%. That reserves the slot. The project brief lands in your inbox. Fill it. The brief is the job.
  2. Day 1. One 30-minute kickoff. You send logo, copy, and photos, or you check the box and we write the copy. There is not a second workshop to name the company you already named.
  3. Days 1–3. We design and build a custom WordPress install. No theme shop. The complete preview link is due 24–72 hours after kickoff. Check-ins are async.
  4. Days 3–15. You send one consolidated change list within 48 hours of that preview. We apply the included rounds. You pay the remaining 50%. We deploy to hosting in your name. You own the files.

Why the 48-hour rule exists

Open-ended notes are how 72 hours becomes six weeks. You get one complete preview, then one list, not forty emails. Extra revision rounds after the included ones are $49 each, listed on pricing. Miss the 48-hour window and the job pauses. It re-enters at the next open slot. The 15-day boundary is there so your launch date, and everyone else’s, stay real.

Committees kill the clock. Process prep is explicit: one decision-maker. Three sites you respect, with a reason. An offer in plain words. Photos if you have them. Domain and host logins only at launch, and only in your accounts.

Hours we already used

The window we sell is 24–72 hours to preview. The hours we used on shipped Complete and Core jobs are on the project pages, not in a slogan.

Those three sit inside the product window. None of them started as a ThemeForest demo. The rest of the set is on portfolio. Your job is not promised at 44 hours. A store, 20 pages, or missing copy either stays in the window as a different package, or we say so before you pay.

What 72 hours does not include

  • A discovery phase that restates your homepage as a PDF.
  • Open revision weeks with no list and no owner.
  • A site that lives on our branding subdomain with no export path.

If you need that layer, hire the agency. We will tell you that on the brief.

What you pay

Published flats, not an hourly clock. Starter is $199 for a single landing page. Core is $499 for up to 10 custom pages. Complete is $2,499. Extra pages are quoted flat before you pay. The market bands around that (DIY, freelancer, traditional agency) are on the 2026 cost guide and the pricing cost table. If you want a page-count number first, use the cost calculator.

50% reserves the slot. Brief in 30 minutes. Preview in 24–72 hours. Start on contact.
